The Rolls-Royce 20/25 was one of the marque’s most popular models and you could say saved the company during the economic difficulties faced by many during the Great Depression.
They were produced from 1929 to 1936 and we have one which was
supplied on the 17th September 1934, with the final test carried out by coach builders Thrupp & Maberley, who were coach makers to Queen Victoria, on the 7th November 1934.
A substantial amount of work has taken place in the last 20 years which includes a complete Rolls Royce specification rewire including instruments and lighting, and a complete engine rebuild which included a new block and cylinder head, a front and rear axle overhaul including the one shot system and new road springs.
The interior is finished in dark brown leather which shows wonderful patina and new wheat carpets have been fitted.
The brown and cream paint colour is very eye-catching and although the exterior does shows signs of general wear it is of a very sound condition.
A substantial amount of history is supplied with the car which includes the original build sheets, original hand books, and a folder full of invoices.
