DescriptionFor Sale 1952 Jaguar Mark VII manual saloon
Registration Number: YVL312
YVL312 was originally supplied new into New Zealand and remained there until the car was purchased by the current owner and had the car shipped to the UK in 2014.
Having spent almost 50 years with two owners and preserved with salt free roads the car has only had four owners from new.
This is a very rare car with only a small number cars left in the UK with the unique split screen and body mounted front spot lights.
The Jaguar MkVII was a revolution in the market and in early publications claiming it was the most impessive four-seater which was capable of over 100mph.
Jaguars racing pedigree continued in the MkVII and is eligible for Historic Motor events which includes the Mille Miglia and Goodwood revival.
Fiennes Showroom are pleased to be able to offer this remarkable MkVII, finished in metallic silver which emulates the stunning stying that this car offers, complemented by the red leather interior and red carpets.
Sitting behind the wheel you find yourself in a lap of luxury with beautiful wood dashboard and capping's throughout, the sliding sunroof for the British summer along with the heater for the slightly cooler days.
This is a matching number car which has been maintained to a very high standard with invoices to support.
Looking through the documentation there is a document showing the car has had a complete engine build which at the time was also upgraded to a 5 speed gearbox (Original Moss Box supplied), repainted, original tool boxes near complete and present, original registration documents from New Zealand and the UK, Heritage certificate and just to add the pièce de résistance, a well regarded Concours d Elegance attendee in 2016,2019 and 2020.
An amazing opportunity not to be missed.
