A rare find to the market is this beautiful example of a Jaguar E-Type Series 3 roadster.
The third iteration of the E-Type was launched in 1971 with a 5.3-litre V12 engine and the one we have for sale was supplied by Guy Salmon Ltd in 1974 to one of its two former keepers.
The gleaming white paintwork looks as good as new complemented by the outstanding red leather trim and wool carpets, it truly is in outstanding condition.
It has a document file with all of the history including recent works, of which there are invoices for over £12,000 by Classic Motor Cars (CMC), a very highly regarded restorer in the Jaguar E-Type world.
In 2014 an article was printed, of which there is a cutting in the history folder, which states the E-Type was voted the greatest car of all time and this car has also recently been featured in a photoshoot for the December edition of Classic Cars Magazine, celebrating the forthcoming 60th anniversary of the Jaguar E-Type in 2021.
