For Sale:
1966 Jaguar E Type FHC Right Hand Drive (Restoration Project)
Chassis No: 1E21324
Celebrating 60 years there is no better time to own such an iconic British Sports Car.
Fiennes Showroom are offering a 1966 Jaguar E Type 4.2 FHC which was originally supplied to Henlys of London in April 1966.
Finished in cream with black trim as detailed on the Heritage Certificate suggesting that this is a very original car with matching numbers. This makes the perfect foundation for a high end restoration.
FFL 33D starts and drives and is complemented by a large history file, parts manual and Jaguar handbook which looks to be a replacement.
There is a large file of invoices and estimates which shows good levels of maintenance over the years along with estimates to embark on restoration works.
Previous works were carried out by Sawfords Classic and Sports Cars and the most recent works were carried out by Jaguar Workshop in London which a mechanical overhaul costing £17k took place. This was carried out in 2015
Earlier restoration states the car was restored fully in 1988 with receipts to support the works carried out.
I would encourage all interested parties to view the potential of this car.
