Vehicle Description
For Sale, 1937 Derby Bentley 4.25ltr Parkward Saloon
Chassis number, B2LS

B2LS was delivered to ParkWard as a demo car for prospective buyers and used by Rolls-Royce at Olympia in 1937 before the first private keeper took delivery. Supplied as a 4 door 4 light saloon, finished in Black coachwork and Green leather interior with a tan carpet throughout, complemented by the Burr walnut dash facia and capping's.
There is extensive history supplied with the car and the current owner has done a fantastic job in preserving all of the history that we can enjoy today.
There is no question that B2LS has been maintained to a very high standard throughout its life. A restoration was carried out by Fiennes and Steve Penny in the early 90s which is fully documented. The body was removed from the chassis and refurbished to a very high standard. The interior was preserved where possible and refitted to the car.
Mechanically Fiennes Restoration Ltd carried out a complete engine and gearbox build in 1991 and has maintained the car with major overhaul carried out on all mechanical and electrical components. Servicing has been carried out on almost an annual basis which is admirable to the current owner in recognising the importance of maintaining a Bentley to a high standard.
The general condition of B2LS is very good with minor areas of patina throughout the coachworks and interior.
This is a very low ownership car with 3 previous keepers, complemented with files of history, current V5 and two keys.
Viewing can be arranged at Fiennes Showroom and we can offer Classic finance, vehicle detailing, storage and enclosed transport.
